Peter Basil N. Christy

Mr. Christy has been practicing law for 35 years. He has litigated and tried cases in the New York State and Federal Courts since his admission to the bar in 1984. Mr. Christy has extensive experience in the practice areas of personal injury, Labor Law, medical malpractice, products liability, animal liability, commercial liability, automobile liability, and libel and slander, successfully representing both plaintiffs and defendants, during the course of his career.

Mr. Christy received his Juris Doctorate from Fordham Law School in 1983. Prior to that he was a Law Clerk, employed by a prestigious plaintiff’s firm, specializing in medical malpractice and personal injury for 10 years. During that time he attended and graduated from New York University Stern School of Business, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1978. Mr. Christy is admitted to the New York State Bar and United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts. He has lectured at Trial Lawyers Associations in the areas of Civil Procedure and Evidence.
